Because cows are sacred in Nepal (and that's another whole story), the meat Nepalis eat is primarily water buffalo. Hence, the hide is a by product of meat production. Preparing the hide is a lengthy process, done completely by hand, using all local, natural, and organic materials. Then, they're designed and crafted by hand.
I was enthralled with everything about this bag! I love the shape, that it has a zip top, handles, two outside pockets, and an adjustable strap for shoulder or crossbody use. It even has a small inside pocket.
